Part of Blue Martini Group, ONICE has been bringing people together on the ice since 2010. From our long-established rink in Dundrum to destinations across Ireland and the UK, we’ve welcomed generations of families, friends and first-time skaters. This winter, we’re delighted to become part of Everwinter.
Whether you’re finding your feet or confidently gliding around the rink, join us for a festive family outing, a Christmas catch-up, a school visit or a date night with a difference.
Our experienced team will be on hand to help you make the most of your time on the ice. Bring your friends, wrap up warm and make ONICE part of your Everwinter adventure.

LOCATION
This winter, Everwinter arrives at the RDS, bringing an unmissable ice-skating experience to one of Dublin’s most iconic venues. With a covered ice rink, festive markets, delicious food and seasonal entertainment, it’s the perfect setting for your Christmas day out. Whether you’re planning family fun, a festive catch-up with friends, a group outing or a date night with a difference, Everwinter brings a little extra magic to the season.
Located in Ballsbridge, the RDS is easily reached from Dublin city centre, with nearby public transport connections and parking available on site.

NEAREST PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Sandymount and Lansdowne Road DART stations are both a short walk from the RDS, with bus services also stopping nearby.

Sessions
Our sessions begin on the hour and last 45 minutes, followed by a 15-minute break for ice resurfacing. The schedule shown below reflects our standard times, but availability may change due to special events, weather conditions, or local transport issues. In the case of severe weather, such as storms, sessions may be affected.

FAQs
Got questions? We've got answers!
1. How long is a skate session?
Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes.
2. Are skates included?
Yes. Skate hire is included with your ticket.
3. Can I bring my own skates?
Yes. Bringing your own skates does not change the ticket price. Speed skates are not permitted and we cannot sharpen personal skates on site.
4. What age can children skate from?
Children must be at least 3 years old to skate. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied on the ice by a skating adult.
5. Are skating aids available?
Yes. Weighted penguin skating aids are available on a first come, first served basis for children aged 10 and under who are shorter than 110cm.
6. Is the ice rink wheelchair accessible?
Yes. The rink is wheelchair accessible.
7. Do you have insurance?
Everwinter holds Public Liability insurance for the event site as a whole. However, please note that ice skating carries an inherent risk of falls. Participation in skating is entirely at your own risk, and Everwinter are not liable for any injuries sustained while using the rink.
WHAT TO WEAR
Dress for the chill, and you'll be ready to be ON ICE! We recommend:
Tip: For your safety, avoid long scarves or dangly accessories while skating.
Warm, layered clothing (think jumpers and coats)
Gloves to keep your hands cosy
Thick socks for extra comfort in your skates
Comfortable clothing you can move in
SKATE AIDS
For our little skaters (or big kids at heart!), we provide skate aids to help build confidence on the ice. These friendly penguins are the perfect companions for wobbly feet, making skating safe and fun for all ages.
Skate aids are available on first come first serve basis for children.
